A group of animal rescue volunteers known as “Paws Show” recently encountered a heart-wrenching case involving a sick puppy that had been roaming the streets.
This young dog, who had been dubbed Mila, had unfortunately become a makeshift toy for some children in a small community.

For nearly a month, Mila had lived a life of hardship. Her origins and past misfortunes remain unclear, but what was evident was her dire health condition.
She was malnourished, her body riddled with patches of fur loss due to severe anemia. Her energy was so depleted that she could sleep almost anywhere, and she often slumped against a fence, too weak to move after the children’s play.
Volunteer Esdras Andrade expressed deep compassion for Mila, saying, “My hugs are compelling. The loving gentle treatment is what she has sensed from me.”
Determined to start Mila’s healing process, the team quickly focused on cleaning her up. The first bath she received was a turning point, with the soothing shower gel bringing comfort to her weary skin.
Esdras Andrade shared, “The kindness and tenderness are what we sense from Mila.”
A week later, Mila’s transformation was remarkable. She became increasingly affectionate and visibly healthier. The “Paws Show” team is now actively searching for a caring family who can provide Mila with the loving home she truly deserves.
