While strolling home through a park, Kawasaki Hina encountered an unexpected companion—a tiny kitten that squeaked as it approached him. The little feline seemed determined not to let Hina out of its sight, trailing closely behind him.
Feeling a connection with the persistent kitty, Hina decided to bring it home, cradling the small creature safely in a box.
Once they arrived at Hina’s house, the kitten, which he later named Vel, quickly dozed off, clearly comfortable in its new surroundings.
Hina described Vel with affection, sharing with Bored Panda that “she is like a family to me.” He expressed a mutual fondness, saying, “I think she also loves me.” Hina is confident that their bond will last a lifetime, adding, “We’ll be together forever.”
Their relationship blossomed from that park meeting, and now, they spend their days enjoying each other’s company, even tackling household chores like doing the laundry.
This chance encounter has turned into a heartwarming friendship, demonstrating the unexpected joys that can come from a simple walk in the park.
