Every afternoon, I dedicated time to feeding the weaker dogs in the neighborhood. One particular day, just as we prepared to leave, we came across a dog in critical condition.
I decided to call him Franca. It was clear he had been poisoned, and his health was rapidly declining, necessitating quick action to save his life.

The next thirty minutes were crucial, with Franca’s survival dependent on swift and decisive action. Through determined efforts, we were able to stabilize his condition. Though still weak and confused, Franca began to show slight signs of recovery.
His path to recovery was challenging, requiring Franca to relearn essential skills such as eating, drinking, and walking. Yet, with each day, his strength grew, and gradually, he regained his independence.
Despite the ordeal he endured, Franca’s spirit stayed resilient. He slowly learned to trust those helping him and grew close to the other dogs in the household.
His transformation from the brink of death back to health serves as a powerful reminder of the impact that love and care can have on a life.
