LuLi was a homeless mother struggling to survive on the streets. She appeared young, yet life had clearly been harsh on her, leaving her frail and covered in scabs and illness, with barely any flesh on her bones.
Her story took a turn for the better when Alejandra, a kind-hearted woman, noticed her plight and contacted Noelia Prestipino from the La Casita de Noe shelter in Buenos Aires, Argentina. The shelter’s team was deeply moved by LuLi’s state and named her Luna—a testament to how truly unique she was.

Initially, Luna was apprehensive about humans, having never experienced love and care before. But just 15 days at the shelter brought noticeable changes. With dedicated attention, regular baths, and antibiotics, Luna began to heal and transform into a more vibrant, appealing dog.
Luna deserved a life filled with love, comfort, and joy—a place to call home, leisurely walks, a cozy bed to sleep in, and adventures to go on. It’s clear from her miraculous recovery that she was dearly loved.

Thanks to the shelter staff’s dedicated efforts, Luna has now found a forever home with a caring family. This once-suffering dog is now basking in her new life, having officially become a cherished member of her adopters’ family.
“We wish my daughter happiness and will always miss her.”
